Thank you for joining me on Geri and Sean’s adventure! I thought I would provide you with a few fun facts to wow your book club or friends:
1. The Shag Harbour UFO crash in 1967 is a well documented event in Canadian history. The link I provided in Geri’s narrative in Chapter Ten is a live link to the Shag Harbour UFO Incident Museum. It is Canada’s very own Roswell, and the residents of Shag Harbour are very proud to share it with the world. Here’s the link in case you missed it in Chapter Ten: https://shagharbourincident.wordpress.com
2. Dolph Lundgren, mentioned in Chapter Eight, is a brilliant chemical engineer who rose to fame in the 1980s after he turned down a Fullbright scholarship to MIT to get into acting. For anyone who isn’t familiar with his acting, look for him as King Nereus in the upcoming movie Aquaman.
I hope you enjoyed Shag Lake and that I managed to give you a few giggles. Depending on reader response, I may decide to make this into a series. I’ve already been thinking about Jason Eastman ...

Writing a novel is only the beginning of publishing a book. It takes a team of skilled and talented people to get it polished for public consumption, and I would be remiss if I didn’t let them know how much I appreciate their contribution to my work.
Many thanks to the editing team at Red Adept who not only edit my manuscripts, but also go above and beyond to support me as a writer.
Thanks to my alpha reader Christina Galvez, who critiques my unedited stories and tells me what’s good about them and what’s not so good about them ... (seriously, I love your critiques, Christina!!)
Thanks to my husband for taking time out of his busy career to design the interior of my books for paperback publication, to pick up the slack around the house when I’m writing, and understanding that I need our one home office all to myself ☺
Thanks to Laurie Wickens, President of the Shag Harbour UFO Museum, for giving me permission to use the live link in my book, and who also spread the word about Shag Lake.
And last, but certainly not least, a big thank you to my beta readers and advance reviewers who took the time out to read and then leave thoughtful reviews for Shag Lake. Reviews are gold to an author, and I value every single one. xo
