ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A. R. Morlan is best known as a horror and fantasy writer. She published her first piece, a quiz, in The Twilight Zone Magazine in 1983, and her first story, the novelette “Four Days Before the Snow” (the first tale set in her fictional Wisconsin town of Ewerton) in 1985 in Night Cry. Since then she has penned many more short stories, quizzes, novelettes, and novellas in more than 100 different magazines, anthologies, and webzines, as well as erotica written under two different pennames (one male and one female). Most recently, she has focused primarily on science fiction, culminating in an appearance in the thirtieth anniversary issue of Isaac Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine in 2007, and a mystery, Grave Waters (Wildside Press, 2015). She shares her home in the upper Midwest with many cats.
