By adhering together several different 3-D cast pieces, you can come up with some wonderful hybrids. With this winged wonder, I used resin casts of a frozen Charlotte head, a body and wings. Glue the resin cast objects with a 5-minute epoxy gel and smooth out odd joints with a resin clay. Next time you find a plastic bird with outstretched wings, you can cut off those wings (sorry, birdy) and make a 3-D mold so that you can cast countless wings.
STEP ONE: Cast your objects as shown.
STEP TWO: Adhere the pieces together with 5-minute epoxy gel.
STEP THREE: Smooth the joints with resin clay.
