An easy way to add an element (like wings) onto an existing structure is to make it yourself. Just shape the foil into a form that’s the right shape and size, then cover it completely with resin clay, apply paint and add it to your assemblage.
STEP ONE: Fold and compress foil into a wing shape.
STEP TWO: Completely cover the foil wing with resin clay (shown is Apoxie Sculpt). Then apply resin clay petals to create a feathered wing look.
STEP THREE: Smooth out the clay as necessary to look like a wing, then let the wing dry.
STEP FOUR: When the clay is dry, paint it and add a glaze, then attach the wing to your figurine using a strong adhesive.
