EarthWorm Pachyderm

Elephants may never forget, but EarthWorm Pachyderms suffer from permanent amnesia. These wiggling lumps of blubber squirm aimlessly through the earth by means of an extremely long, dirt-inhaling proboscis. Chunks of stone go in their snouts and sand comes out … well, the other end. Fully grown they are about twelve feet in length, plus up to five feet of trunk. The EarthWorm Pachyderm has no natural predators, but their numbers are kept in check by frequent cave-ins of their tunnels. When an animal the size of a rhinoceros is lumbering around underground, it’s bound to get squashed quite a lot.
