An award-winning journalist for four decades, Tim Younkman has incorporated his experience and training into all facets of his works, including essays, short commentaries, short stories, novels and historical accounts.
A native of the mountains of eastern Kentucky and raised along the sandy shores of Lake Michigan, Younkman is a graduate of Michigan State University School of Journalism and has been a crime and courts reporter for the Clinton County News, Muskegon Chronicle, Bay City Times and mlive.com . He also is an award-winning columnist who comments on everyday life and the important issues of the times.
He has written four digital novels merging history and intriguing crime stories.
Younkman is the father of seven children and resides in Bay City, Michigan.
