After you have carefully inspected one or more shipping containers to your satisfaction, you are ready to pull the trigger and purchase the shipping container of your choosing.
When you purchase a shipping container, be sure to ask the seller whether the transport or delivery of the container is included in the purchase price. They may be able to negotiate a good price which includes transporting the container to your location, especially if you live far away ways from the port area where the shipping container will come from, or if the location where you want the shipping container to be delivered is not adjacent to the port area.
If you live inland or further from a shipping hub, there may be some hindrances to having the container shipped or transported to your area. If you are responsible for organizing transport, one option you may find effective is renting a large trailer truck or a truck with a tilting bed that can transport the container from the port or supplier. Be prepared to shell out more for transportation and/or shipping costs if you are not adjacent to a port area.
