Then when the prayer is finished, spread out through the land and seek Allah’s bounty (through work or trade), and remember Allah much so that you may be successful. (al-Qur’an 62:10)

ALLAH’S MESSENGER was asked what type of earning was best. He replied: ‘A man’s work with his hands, and any decent business’. (Ahmad)

THE PROPHET said: ‘No one eats better food than what he earns with his own hands. The Prophet Dawud

FATIMAH (the Prophet’s daughter) came to her father
(after she was married) and asked him for a servant (to help with her housework). The Prophet
said, ‘Shall I not inform you of something that is better for you than a servant? Recite: ‘Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah’ thirty-three times, Al-hamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) thirty three times, and Allahu Akbar (Allah is Great) thirty-four times before you go to bed’. (Bukhari)
