TAKING CARE OF YOUR SURFBOARD

Surfboards are expensive, and they need careful maintenance. If they’re taken care of properly, they can last for years. Follow these rules to keep your surfboard in great shape!

1. Don’t stand your surfboard against a wall. Invest in a bag to keep your board in so that it doesn’t get damaged.

2. Have dings or dents repaired. You can buy a repair kit at a surfboard shop. If you need a quick fix, try using duct tape to cover a dent.

3. Try not to leave your board in the sun. The hot rays can melt the wax and damage your board.

4. Wax helps your feet stay on the surfboard, so make sure that your board always has the proper amount of wax.
