It is obvious to most people that we are living in extraordinary times. Changes of all kinds are taking place faster than ever before in the history of humankind. As a result, it is an era in the evolution of our world where disruption is the constant.

It is easy to see the difficulties that disruption creates. The world’s many problems are on full display. As we observe life it can be hard at times to understand and make peace with the distortions and human suffering, personal, societal and global, we see. In addition, during this disruptive phase in planetary evolution, people are often faced with extra personal challenges, many of them unexpected. It can and will get easier.

Problems and challenges often tend to draw our attention; however, I believe there is an up-side to this environment of high-speed change we are living in. Something extraordinary and beautiful is taking place. We are growing, changing and transforming at super high speed. We are reinventing ourselves, becoming conscious co-creators fueled by self-empowered effort. Consciousness is morphing, new awareness is manifesting, psychology paradigms are shifting, systemic changes are beginning to take place and new solutions to some of our global issues are coming into view. A new, heart-based world is emerging.

At the very core of this positive momentum there is a new intelligence emerging. It is the intelligence of the heart. The intelligence of the heart embodies living more consistently from the qualities associated with heart; more love, care, compassion, appreciation, kindness and patience directing our actions. The heart’s intelligence provides a doorway into our quiet presence where we can access more practical intuition. It gives us a greater ability to act on what we know and move beyond self-imposed limitations. It provides a feeling of self-security. It helps shift perceptions offering new open-ended possibilities that lead to solutions to challenges. In essence, it’s heart time on the planet.

Yes “heart” has been talked about and in many ways revered for thousands of years. However, it too is evolving and a new manifestation of heart leading to a heart-based world is an evolutionary imperative of our time. That’s good news. We have access to more heart-directed awareness and the ability to create a new and different life experience.

David McArthur knows this very well. His life, much like mine, has been an exploration of the heart.
