“Sanchez here.”
“Things are stable, but I believe our perpetrator is getting nervous,” Kate said. “They’ve planted spy cameras around the campus. Last night we found a camera in the room that I’ve been sharing with another workshop member.”
“Did they get footage of you and Tom? I bet that would be a big hit on You Tube.”
Kate laughed. “Not to my knowledge.” The tone of her voice changed. “I think they’re getting nervous. When are you guys going to be able to get here?”
“O’Malley just talked to Cal Fire, and they think the blaze will be under control by midday. So, maybe later this afternoon.”
“The sooner the better. The natives are getting restless.”
