DR. GREEN DETOX SMOOTHIE

The powerhouse blend will put a pep in your step and a zing on your tongue as it also escorts toxins out of your body (cilantro is a powerful purifier). As a bonus, the greens in this smoothie will help retrain your taste buds. If the ginger kick is too strong for your taste, use a smaller piece.

1 handful of spinach

½ lemon, peeled

1 (1-inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated

½ cucumber, peeled

1 small handful of fresh cilantro

1 small handful of fresh parsley

1 cup coconut water or filtered water

Liquid organic stevia (optional)

Handful of ice (optional)

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and puree for 45 to 60 seconds.
