There are experts on how soldiers dressed and fought so long ago. Some of them make their own weapons and costumes. Others have learned to play medieval instruments and cook food from that time.

Thousands turn out for medieval festivals around the world. Many of the kids dress up like knights, and for a few days they have fun pretending to be medieval warriors.
