I was just an ordinary girl with big dreams. Now my dreams have changed. My one desire is to tell the world that true hope is found in Christ alone and that with Him you can do anything.

God’s love is not reserved for perfect people. In fact, His greatest miracles often come through the weak and broken. His power is made perfect through human weakness. I still wear my MIRACLE 4 JEN bracelet today because I never want to forget that. I believe that God’s miracles will continue to unfold. His promise that “no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9) isn’t just describing what we’ll experience in heaven. Instead, I believe God’s plans for each of us on this earth surpass our wildest dreams!

Maybe you’ve been through some terrible hardships and feel that your life will never be the same again. Regardless of your circumstances, you can be healed in your soul with the peace of God, and your life may never be the same again––it may be better than you ever imagined possible.

None of us can heal on our own. For that we need a Savior. The good news is that God is ready to rescue you. Ready to offer the free gift of salvation in His Son, Jesus Christ—the gift of redemption and a new life. Once you pray and invite Him into your heart, His spirit lives in you and fills you with His power and strength. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

If I didn’t have a personal relationship with the Lord, my story would be completely different. If you are broken and hurting today, cry out to God. He doesn’t want you to be afraid or ashamed. He wants to come to your rescue and take the pain and fear away. He is the only one in this world who will never disappoint you or desert you. He wants to redeem everything that is past and make all things new.

The Lord is the writer of my story, and I can’t wait to see how it ends!

Forever hoping,

Jennifer Barrick
