Mixing and matching smoothie ingredients is a perfect way to add variety to your drinks. These are two of our favourites here at Lucy Bee. The ideal way to disguise those good greens for those who aren’t keen on eating them.
BANANA AND ALMOND BUTTER SMOOTHIE
SERVES 1
1 banana
1 tbsp almond butter
200ml/¾ cup plus 1 tbsp almond milk
½ tsp Lucy Bee cinnamon powder (optional)
Add all ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth, then serve straight away.
TIP
For an iced option to enjoy on warm sunny days, freeze the banana first.
CARDAMOM MANGO BLISS
SERVES 1
100g/3½ oz mango
Seeds from 1 cardamom pod
Handful of spinach
½ avocado
200ml/¾ cup plus 1 tbsp coconut water or water
Add all ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth, then serve straight away.
