Inside the war room there’s an assembled group of top- level military officials contemplating an invasion. On the ground, troops are given orders. Planes are fueled. Weapons are loaded. Write about this military operation, whether you’re imagining details of an actual historic military invasion or creating a fictitious event. Consider what’s happening on the other side of the equation—are there opposing forces readying themselves to fight or is this a sneak attack?
