Reuben Sandwich

Makes 1 sandwich

Spread a thin layer of Buttermilk Russian on one side of each slice of bread. Melt the butter in a skillet and lay the bread slices in the skillet, sauced side up, to brown. Add a few tablespoons of sauerkraut to the skillet to warm, then add the pastrami to the skillet, just long enough to slightly warm it. Add a slice of cheese to one piece of the bread. When the cheese starts to melt, layer the pastrami on top, followed by the sauerkraut and the other slice of bread. Cut the sandwich in half and serve.
