Little one, you fear our contact. You are afraid that our will for you is harsh and counter to your own wishes. This is not the case. Our will for you is joyous. Your deepest desire is also our will for you. Your will and God’s will are not at opposite ends of the table. As you pray, try saying, “Thy will be done.” You will find your own will gently tempered. You will come to desire what the divine desires for you. Ask for an understanding of God’s will. As you are given the power to carry it out, you will feel an abiding contentment.
