God made me strong.

Nehemiah 6:9

When you pray, does God give you strength? If not, then take a look at your prayers. All God’s responses are good responses, including “no.” If God doesn’t give you what you ask for, then he has a very good reason. You have to trust him so much that when your prayers seem to go unanswered or the answer is a loud “no,” you can look up, smile, and say, “Thanks for knowing what’s best for me.” After all, what do you know about the future? How can you predict the outcome of this or that desire of your heart? You can’t.

But as a God Girl one thing you can do is be sure that God’s will is the best possible will for your life, and if he sees fit to not give you something that you really, really want, then it’s for a really, really good reason. So instead of worrying and freaking out about not getting what you want, think about why he might not want you to have it or, better yet, why he does want you to have exactly what he has given you and nothing more.

God will make you strong when you trust his strength. And he will answer every prayer you’ll ever pray when you trust his Word. Find out about prayer. Do your homework and learn God’s promises on the subject. Prayer is your lifeline, your hand reaching out to the Father who protects you, so why wouldn’t you want to know everything about it that you could? And all you need to know is found in the pages of his Word. So go after the wisdom and truth in Scripture and become a God Girl who prays.
