Gratitude and Appreciation

So many people have been involved in the process of creating this book and helping us create brain health warriors. We know it takes a village, and a strong tribe, to accomplish great things. We are grateful for and appreciate:

The tens of thousands of patients and families who have believed in our work, who allowed the staff at Amen Clinics and me to help them have better brains and better lives.

The amazing staff at Amen Clinics. As we write this, we currently serve 4,000 patient visits a month, making us one of the most active private mental and brain health centers in the world. Our professionals work hard every day serving our patients. Special appreciation to our fearless CEO, Terry Weber, who helps our organization run smoothly, as well as Tana’s brand leader, Jasmine Patterson, who is a constant source of energy and creativity. Many thanks to CJ Ramos for her contribution to the beautiful cover design. Additionally, we’d like to acknowledge our dedicated and talented marketing and social media team. It is this hardworking team that creates attention and exposure to the work we so dearly love, so that others may benefit.

EJ Armstrong and her team at Armstrong Photography were an absolute pleasure to work with. Their professionalism and creativity helped give the food photos stunning visual expression and character.

Special thanks to Lauren Hillary for her wonderful work on additional lifestyle and family photos.

Carina Lindgren, makeup artist, and Victor Paul, hair stylist, are also greatly appreciated for their talent in the many projects involving professional hair and makeup services.

We’d like to thank Rebecca Clubb, founder of Whole Health Everyday, and chefs Robyn Larson and Sarah Guiles for their help with creating dozens of original recipes to make The Brain Warrior’s Way program simple, nutritious and delicious. Their culinary expertise and creativity has been instrumental in crafting recipes to fit nearly all dietary needs, and are sure to help you feel strong and healthy.
