SERVES 6
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound beef or bison, free range, all natural
1 sweet onion, peeled and cut in quarters
4 carrots, peeled and quartered
2 sweet potatoes, quarterd
2 rutabaga, peeled and quartered
1 celery root, peeled and cut in quarters
5 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
8 sage leaves, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon fresh or 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1 cup beef broth
1 to 2 teaspoons salt as desired
1 teaspoon pepper
PREPARATION:
1. Combine all in Crock-Pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
2. Shred beef. Adjust cinnamon, salt, and pepper to taste.
NOTE: This recipe is delicious served with Cauliflower Rice Pilaf or Zoodles.
