Peach Frozen Yogurt

SERVES 4 – 6

Succulent and beautiful, peaches have certain phytochemicals that may inhibit cancerous tumors and are high in iron and potassium.

1 pound fresh peaches, pitted and halved (about 2 cups)

One 6-ounce container nonfat plain yogurt

¼ cup agave nectar

2 teaspoons flaxseed oil

½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Process all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Pour into a 9 by 13-inch container and freeze, stirring every hour, until the mixture is firm around the edges and semifirm in the center, about 4 to 4½ hours. Return the mixture to a food processor and process until smooth. Serve immediately.
