While you’re rethinking the beliefs of your childhood, don’t forget to examine your current beliefs, the ones you may have acquired after you let go of the beliefs of your childhood, the ones you moved into at the time of your midlife crisis, or even the ones you settled into last year, or possibly last week.
It’ll be helpful to stay open to new interpretations of the world and how it might work. Often we get stuck in our current thinking because, like an old shoe, it’s so comfortable. Move out of your comfort zone from time to time, and keep an open mind.
