QUICK PREP TIP: MAKING A FOIL SLING FOR MEATLOAF

To make it easy to get the meatloaf in and out of the slow cooker, we use a foil sling. To make sling, fold sheet of aluminum foil into 12 by 9-inch rectangle, then shape meatloaf across center of sling into 9-inch-long loaf. Be sure to pack meat mixture well so it doesn’t break apart while cooking.
