ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Gerald Anderson is a former history professor at North Dakota State University, where he taught Modern European and British history for twenty-one years, and in 2005 received the Robert Odney Excellence in Education Award from NDSU. He has studied extensively in Europe, and holds an MA from NDSU and a PhD from the University of Iowa (1973).

He is the author of Fascists, Communists, and the National Government, a two-volume Study Guide for the Western Perspective, and articles and reviews concerning British, European, and Scandinavian-American history in various periodicals. In addition to works in his academic field, Anderson published his first novel, The Uffda Trial, in 1994. He is a native of Hitterdal, Minnesota.
