At this time in your life it is perfectly normal to like boys a little, but to mostly think they are pretty gross. One day you will probably start to like boys a little more and start to see them as a little less gross. You might wonder what it would be like to have a boyfriend—or even a husband someday.
There is nothing wrong with seeking God about the type of future He wants you to have. That may include talking to Him about the boy who will become your husband. But for now, the best thing you can do is to begin to talk to God about what He wants for you as you get older.
There are many special days ahead for you, and the Bible tells you exactly what you can do to prepare for them. Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” This means that no matter what anyone else is doing, the best thing you can do is focus your attention on finding out all you can about God and praying for those around you. Seeking God means to talk to Him about everything you do and every decision you have to make.
