Rosalyn Robilliard is the pen name for sister writing team, Rose and Alice Robilliard.
Growing up in a tiny English village on the Essex coastline, their imaginations were sparked at an early age by the ancient woodland and salty marshes. As children, they drew comics, wrote stories, and constructed elaborate fairy worlds.
Later on, they shared a house in Manchester and began talking about writing stories together more seriously. Much studying and research ensued, during which they realised that writing was the only place they could really return to the freedom and imagination of their childhood. It was an escape, but also a place where they felt most at home.
When Alice moved across the country to Norwich and Rose stayed in Manchester, writing gave them the perfect excuse to stay connected, spending a few hours each week nattering away on video calls, exploring realms beyond everyday reality.
“The Wall Isn’t a Circle” was born from their fascination with the past, and their longing to step back in time. An evening spent discussing the consequences of being able to drop into the consciousness of any human in history quickly grew legs and eventually ran wild as their finished story.
This is their first professional sale, and they hope you enjoy reading it!

Guelly Rivera is an eighteen-year-old Mexican American from Central Valley, California. Guelly was inspired to follow in her mother’s footsteps by watching her mother create beautiful drawings on any paper she could get her hands on. Her mother continues to be Guelly’s main inspiration and biggest motivation to keep creating artwork and to improve. Painting has been the media she gravitates toward most. Her bedroom walls have often served as canvas for elaborately painted murals; later to be painted over to do it all again. As Guelly’s art became more serious she switched acrylic for oils and bedroom walls for actual canvases, all while focusing on portraits with a surrealist style. She is motivated and excited to see how her art will evolve and where it will take her.
