This is Lookbook Cookbook, a combination of my healthy vegan recipes with photos of cool girls indulging in them. LBCB originally started off as a blog a couple of years ago featuring dessert recipes and all things sweet. Now it’s time to bring on the real food!

All of these recipes keep things simple without the use of meat, dairy, gluten or soy. This isn’t a crazy diet or a fad, this is just an easy way to have fun in the kitchen while staying healthy to boot. Dairy and meat are not replaced with their vegan substitutes, but instead with the freshest of fresh ingredients.

You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy these recipes, but I do hope you like your greens! All kidding aside, there is still plenty of other good stuff to be had in these pages. Fiesta Layer Dip or Raspberry Frostie perhaps?

I believe that food should be fun, eating should be embraced and calories should never ever be counted. And rarely will you have to count when you are eating so fresh and clean. Unless of course you flipped straight to the dessert chapter, but a little indulgence never hurt anyone in that case. Everything in moderation, right?

I also don’t mind at all if you switch up the recipes in this book. Don’t like Brussels sprouts or green peppers? You can make easy substitutions when you feel like it, swapping any veggie for another. Just don’t skimp on the veg altogether, or don’t tell me if you do. Every recipe in this book can also be halved or doubled.

So, enjoy these recipes, always put a little love into your cooking and don’t count, just eat! Check out some of the tips and tricks at the end of this book first and then let’s get started.
