7.   Art or story ... which comes first?

It doesn’t matter. When doing a graphic novel or comic book there

are two essential parts, art and story. Which comes first is one of

those arguments that nobody wins. Many successful pages are

the ones when art and story come at the same time. The creative

process works differently for everybody.

If you are character driven, you will probably create your
characters first.
