Nick Bantock is the author of twenty-five books, eleven of which have appeared on the bestseller lists. Griffin & Sabine stayed on the bestseller list for over two years. His works have been translated into thirteen languages and more than five million copies have been sold throughout the world.
Once named by the classic sci-fi magazine Weird Tales as one of the best storytellers of the century, Nick has had paintings, drawings, sculptures, collages and prints exhibited in shows in the United Kingdom, France, and North America, and his works hang in numerous private collections.
Nick has also worked in a betting shop in the East End of London, trained as a psychotherapist, and designed and had built a house that combined an Indonesian temple and a Russian orthodox church with an English cricket pavilion and a New Orleans bordello. Between 2007 and 2010, he was one of the twelve committee members responsible for selecting Canada’s postage stamps.
Among other things, he can’t swim, he’s never ridden a horse, his spelling is dreadful, and his singing voice is as flat as a pancake.
