Stuffed Apples

Ingredients:

4 golden apples
-
¼ cup palm sugar + 1 ½ tablespoons

1 tablespoon chopped dates
-
3 tablespoons raisins
-
2 tablespoons butter
-
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
-
1/3 cup organic apple juice
-
1 ½ tablespoons whipping cream
To garnish:

A handful of chopped walnuts
Directions:
- Preheat your Sous Vide cooker to 185F.
- Core the apples, leaving the bottom intact.
- In a bowl, combine sugar, raisins, dates, butter, and cinnamon.
- Fill the apples with prepared mixture.
- Place each apple in Sous Vide bag and vacuum seal.
- Cook the apples 90 minutes.
- Combine the remaining sugar with apple juice in a saucepan.
- Simmer until sauce is thick, for 10 minutes. Stir in the whipping cream.
Finishing steps
:
- Remove the apples from bags and serve on a plate.
- Drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with walnuts.
