Stuffed Apples

Ingredients:
-         4 golden apples
-         ¼ cup palm sugar + 1 ½ tablespoons
-         1 tablespoon chopped dates
-         3 tablespoons raisins
-         2 tablespoons butter
-         ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
-         1/3 cup organic apple juice
-         1 ½ tablespoons whipping cream
To garnish:
-         A handful of chopped walnuts
Directions:
  1. Preheat your Sous Vide cooker to 185F.
  2. Core the apples, leaving the bottom intact.
  3. In a bowl, combine sugar, raisins, dates, butter, and cinnamon.
  4. Fill the apples with prepared mixture.
  5. Place each apple in Sous Vide bag and vacuum seal.
  6. Cook the apples 90 minutes.
  7. Combine the remaining sugar with apple juice in a saucepan.
  8. Simmer until sauce is thick, for 10 minutes. Stir in the whipping cream.
Finishing steps :
  1. Remove the apples from bags and serve on a plate.
  2. Drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with walnuts.
