Infused Blackberry Syrup

Ingredients:
-         1.5lb. blackberries
-         4 cups water
-         4 cups sugar
-         4 sprigs basil
Directions:
  1. Preheat Sous vide to 135F.
  2. In a Sous Vide bag combine all ingredients.
  3. Seal the bag and submerge in a water bath.
  4. Cook 2 hours.
Finishing steps:
  1. Remove the bag from the cooker.
  2. Place the bag in an ice-cold water and cool 30 minutes.
  3. Strain the infusion into a glass jar.
  4. Serve or store in a fridge.
