MAKES 185 ML (¾ CUP)

125 g (1¼ cups) grated cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon malt vinegar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon butter, softened

1 teaspoon vegetable oil

1 teaspoon mustard powder

pinch cayenne pepper

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper and stir to combine well. Transfer to small jar, seal and store in refrigerator.

Serve spread on crackers or in sandwiches.
