Following the death of her husband, Reinhard Mohn, Liz Mohn now represents the fifth generation of the ownership family Bertelsmann/Mohn. She is the vice chair of the Bertelsmann Foundation’s executive board and of the board of trustees, and she is a supervisory board member of Bertelsmann AG. She is president of the German Stroke Aid Foundation, which she founded, chairwoman of the board of the Liz Mohn Foundation for Culture and Music, and chairwoman of the Curatorship of the Association of German Music Schools. In 1999, Liz Mohn became the first German woman to join the global think tank the Club of Rome.
