He’s a sought-after speaker, consultant, and thought leader who delivers keynotes and seminars around the world. Prior to his current work, Mike was drafted by the New York Yankees out of high school, but chose instead to play baseball at Stanford University, where he pitched in the College World Series. After college, he played baseball professionally in the Kansas City Royals organization until an injury ended his career while he was still in the minor leagues. He then worked in sales and business development for two tech start-ups, before starting his own consulting company in 2001.
He’s been a regular contributor to the Huffington Post for the past decade, and his work has been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, the Wall Street Journal, and many other publications. Mike lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with this wife, Michelle, and their two daughters, Samantha and Annarose.
