It’s hard to come to Vegas and not get bitten by the gambling bug. Route 9 gives the lowdown on the best games, but you can also check out the Lost Vegas Gambling Museum and Shop (route 1), and the cheap-and-cheerful Slots-A-Fun (route 10).

Beneath the glitz are reminders of an interesting past. Pioneer-era destinations include the Nevada State Museum (route 8), while the Flamingo (route 1) is where “Bugsy” Siegel started it all.

It may be a surprise to find that Las Vegas has a wide range of museums, from the Marjorie Barrick Museum and Arboretum (route 2), to the Lost Vegas Gambling Museum (route 1) and the Lost City Museum (route 11).
