It is imperative for us as Sunfoodists to become attractive artists, wonderful parents, friendly farmers, great inventors, glorious statesmen, spiritual giants, magical millionaires, famous actresses and actors and mystical musicians. By our achievements we will attract attention to this lifestyle. We will spread this information by our inspiring example to the farthest corners of the world.
You are an incredible human being. I have tremendous respect for you being the type of person who took the time to read this book.
My message to you is to walk your talk; example is not the main thing influencing others, it is the only thing. Especially if you are teaching The Sunfood Diet Success System, first go to work on yourself, then set about the business of attracting new interest.
The eye’s an amazing student,

Unfortunately, in the past, there have been many promoters of raw plant-food diets who did not walk their talk. Therefore, their information was not accurate, and even though they carried the message forward transforming many lives, it did lead many people astray.
The Sunfood Diet is about massive abundance. The Sunfood Diet cannot be about restriction and denial. When you are teaching the raw plant-food diet, let people know that their choices are abundant. If they want to eat a lot or a little, it does not matter. If intuition is followed and the guidelines of this book are followed, the result of vibrant health and living in harmony with Nature will be achieved.
After many years of promoting a raw-food lifestyle, I have found that the best way to introduce The Sunfood Diet to other people is to be a shining example of health and vitality myself. This is always the best way to attract people to the Sunfood lifestyle.
Become the example. You are in a much better position to communicate with people when they approach you, rather than when you approach them. Have them ask you about your amazing state of health. I have had women approach me from out of the blue and ask to touch my skin or ask me what is my secret. When this occurs you are in a powerful position to forward this vital Sunfood information. When someone approaches you like this, when they see your vitality, your transformation, don’t give away the farm. Make them work for the information. When they ask, “What’s your secret?” Just smile and say, “It’s a secret.” That will arouse their curiosity and make it much more likely they will take action when you do eventually tell them about this information! It will also make the situation much more fun.
Aside from the charismatic power of your own example, I have found the top two approaches to help people discover the raw-food truth for themselves are as follows:
Approach 1. “Life is designed raw.” Out of trillions of organisms that were alive at the beginning of time, are alive now and will be alive at the end of time, only one tampers with its food. You do not want to bet against those kinds of odds.
Approach 2. “You can’t convince a child.” Children naturally gravitate towards brightly-colored fruits. My friend Lenny Watson, a long-time raw-foodist and natural healer from Maui, tells us, “You don’t start a child on macrobiotic food.” Children intuitively know that their natural foods are raw fruits and vegetables.
As you communicate this information, people will say “no” to you. The best salespeople know how to do deal with doubters, pessimists, the disinterested and the apathetic. The best salespeople have overcome their fear of rejection. They just say, “Next.” Move on to someone else. There are billions of people who need this information and millions who will listen and take action. Go forth, find them, leverage your mind to present this information to them in the most attractive way possible.

Start talking to people about raw foods. Become a dynamic communicator. The more precise our communication with ourselves and others, the more effective we are, because we humans are gregarious, social beings.
Communication is more than it seems. Discover how to communicate. First, tell your voice it is in harmony with the sounds of Nature. Then, tell your skin it glows with smooth perfection. Next, begin to talk health into every organ of your own or another’s body. Tell yourself or another that their muscles are limber, shapely, and beautiful. Tell your mind, or another’s mind, that it is functioning at peak efficiency. Master personal communication skills. Choose your body language, tone of voice, and words carefully.
Be aware of the 55:38:7 communication equation. 55% of your communication (as it is perceived by others) is non-verbal. This includes: physiology, body language, eye contact and gestures. 38% comes from the sound and tone of your voice. 7% of your communication is the based on the actual content of what you are saying.
Be there in the present moment with anyone you find before you throughout the day. Really listen to what they are telling you. Ask questions. Some of the most incredible stories I have ever heard came from seemingly boring people. I find something fascinating in every person I meet. When you are a good listener, you not only know what you know, but you also know what the other person knows.
Teaching is not about preaching, it is about asking questions. How can I know how I can help someone nutritionally if I do not know anything about them? By asking questions, I can discover everything I need to help!
Questions are answers. Just as you can focus your own brain’s energy by asking yourself specific questions, you can also direct the focus of someone else’s brain by asking her/him specific questions.
As individuals who live the Sunfood lifestyle, we should understand that the history of cooked food has caused more than raw food alone can cure. Other healing modalities, such as massage, yoga, meditation, walking, playing, and laughing all have their place. But the raw-food information is the key to the whole thing — it makes everything else work amazingly well. This information is absolutely vital to the future health and happiness of the planet. People can always use a boost, they need The Sunfood Diet Success System in their hands and hearts. Challenge yourself to push this message into the world. Speak up when you would have held your tongue.
