“NOTHING IN THE WORLD GIVES ME MORE SATISFACTION THAN PLANTING FRUIT TREES. AS I HAVE ALWAYS CHOSEN TO CHANNEL MY ENERGY AND FINANCES INTO ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY, SUSTAINABLE AND HEALTHY DIRECTIONS, I FOUNDED THE NON–PROFIT FRUIT TREE PLANTING FOUNDATION AS A PLACE WHERE WE COULD ALL VOTE WITH OUR MONEY FOR A BETTER, HAPPIER, MORE ABUNDANT, FORESTED FUTURE ON EARTH. PLEASE READ OUR MISSION STATEMENT AND DECIDE THAT YOU WANT TO DONATE TO THIS WORTHY CAUSE.” — David Wolfe, JD

Mission Statement

The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation’s primary mission is to plant 18 billion heirloom varieties of edible fruitful trees on the planet Earth and encourage their growth under organic standards (no pesticides, sprays or fertilizers). Trees create shade, calling forth water from the Earth. This living water creates health abundance and attracts more vegetation and animals. Living water and forests restore a positive equilibrium to the hydrological cycle of the planet thus normalizing weather patterns.

We believe in thinking big and that if you set a goal, you get a goal. Planting 18 billion fruit trees is possible and can spring out of the inspiration, drive and soul of just one human being.

Our Specific Goals:

• To spearhead a variety of planting programs. These programs are aimed at enriching the environment, providing nutritious food sources for wild and rescued animals and improving human health by bringing shade and producing delicious, fresh, locally-grown raw fruits.

• To secure planting lands and then organizing the placement of fruit trees and other trees that benefit the surrounding air, water and soil resources and provide food sources for people and animals. We aim to reestablish native plant ecosystems wherever possible.

• To make available an abundance of delicious, fresh, locally-grown, raw fruits and undergrowth vegetables of the highest quality to all the peoples — especially the homeless.

• To encourage each person on this planet to plant at least 3 fruitful trees.

• To provides support, resources and guidance for those interested in planting fruit trees.

We have come together through a love of trees, nature and a desire to foster harmony between the human race and mother earth, her plants and creatures, thus restoring this planet through each of our actions. It has been estimated that the planting of 18 billion trees (that is three planted by each person on this globe) would reverse the atmospheric pollution damage.

We choose trees that yield edible fruit, nutritious leaves or roots or are fruitfully useful in some other manner. Thus through our plantings we are creating rich, ecological, life-sustaining, organic diversity all over America and, eventually, the world. As we replant we bring not only vibrant health to humanity through fostering the accessibility of delicious fresh local fruits and vegetables but we also restore the plants that sustained the lives of the first peoples of this Earth, all the while following the contours of the land creating natural waterways that increase the reproductive strength of each fruit forest and designing our plantings in ways that alleviate erosion.

Please unite with us in the care of mother earth and in the reforestation of her once rich forest cover. Begin now to plant and care for trees wherever you are and send us photographs of your tree adventures and plant friends. We delight in donations of your time, money or barter.
