“IN ORDER TO HAVE SOMETHING,
YOU MUST FIRST BE SOMETHING.” — Goethe
“THE OUTER SITUATION IS ALWAYS A REFLECTION OF
THE COLLECTIVE INNER SITUATION.” — Peace Pilgrim
You are not what you are, rather, what you are, is what you can be. The most interesting thing about life is that you can become more than you were before. You can become stronger, wiser, healthier than you ever dreamed possible. You can achieve your true potential. You can completely re-form your physical structure, your intelligence, your emotional poise, your spiritual power. This book is about how to biologically transmutate the lead of life into the white gold of glory.
The Principle of Life Transformation is that life change comes from the inside out. All transformation begins with one person — you. As above, so below. Everything happening around you is only a reflection of what is going on inside you. If you want the world to change, you have to change.
We are all personally responsible for the state of the entire world because the world only mirrors our inner selves. Pollution, famine, and disease are reflective of the inner crisis gripping us individually, and therefore collectively. These “realities” are fragments of our collective consciousness projected outward upon our environment.
Your idea of the world (what you believe the world is) manifests everything in your life. When you change your idea of the world, the world itself changes. Essentially, your mission is not to set the world right, but simply to set yourself right. Then, and only then, will the world begin to be set right. I tell my seminar listeners: “The world does not change — we change.”
Life transformation is an inner journey. To succeed in life you have to work harder. But not on your family, or on your friends, or on your job, or on whatever comes your way. You have to work harder on yourself first.
Your own happiness is your number one priority. Many have the idea that they have to undergo a process of stress and pain in order to provide for themselves and their families. They do so with the idea that at some future date they will all be happy. If this is you, please understand that you cannot make anyone else happy by being unhappy yourself. Only happy people make others happy. Instead of achieving to be happy, happily achieve.
When we strive to become better ourselves, everything around us becomes better too. The environment we live in will become better or worse depending on whether we become better or worse. The people we associate with will become better or worse depending on whether we become better or worse. You automatically achieve improved results, when you become an improved person.
It seems the whole works of humankind are backwards. Most are trying to convince, instruct, and purify everyone else — without first purifying themselves. To enlighten others we have to enlighten ourselves.
The best way to make others healthy is to become incredibly healthy yourself!
Health is not something we can get; rather, it is something we attract by the person we become. If we chase after health, it will elude us like a butterfly. However, if we calmly attract health by becoming the type of person who can be radiantly healthy, it will land upon us with a most radiant flutter.
Once we understand that life change comes from the inside out, and that it is in becoming something new that we achieve something new, then we decide to take full responsibility for our lives. The success philosopher Earl Nightingale expressed this understanding when he said: “All of us are self-made, but only the successful will admit it.”
You will make incredible progress in your life when you accept 100% responsibility for everything that happens to you. You are where you are and who you are because of one person — yourself.
Take full responsibility for everything that happens in your life. As the saying goes: “When you point your finger at someone, you have three fingers pointing back at you.” People accuse others of what they themselves are guilty of.
Winners take full responsibility for everything that happens to them — even when those things seem remote and are not directly attributable to their actions. Taking 100% responsibility for everything in your life transforms you into a new type of person because it forces you to research all “effects” back to their “causes.” Understanding “causes” is the science of life transformation.
Our focus here in this book is vibrant, superior health. If you are suffering from ill health, there is only one person responsible — yourself. Blaming others will not empower you. Concepts such as the germ/bad luck theory are the end products of efforts to put the blame of ill health on someone or something outside of oneself — to remove responsibility from the individual. To achieve our goal of superior health, we must take 100% responsibility.
1 Purchase and begin writing in a journal to record your progress through this book and beyond. Success philosopher Anthony Robbins says: “If your life is worth living, it is worth recording.” Write down your wonderful thoughts. Begin now to describe your health transformation. Release worries, doubts, and fears by writing them down. What an amazing gift your journals can be to your children and their children — they can learn from you and feel a connection with you even when you are gone!
2 The first day you begin this book, take a “before” picture.
3 Instead of trying to remedy everything “out there,” decide now to turn your focus inward to beautify your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual potential. Write down the answer to the following questions in your journal: “What type of person do I have to become to experience radiant health?” “How do I become that type of person as quickly as possible while enjoying the process?”
4 Say to yourself daily: “I am fully responsible for my own great health. My daily habits create my great health.” Write this affirmation on the first page of your journal and on your bathroom mirror.
“CORRECTING ONESELF IS CORRECTING THE WHOLE WORLD.
THE SUN IS SIMPLY BRIGHT. IT DOES NOT CORRECT ANYONE.
BECAUSE IT SHINES, THE WHOLE WORLD IS FULL OF LIGHT.
TRANSFORMING YOURSELF IS A MEANS OF GIVING LIGHT
TO THE WHOLE WORLD.” — Ramana Maharshi
