CHAPTER 1

(What The Hell Is Going On?)

 

Angela reached headquarters and knew something was wrong from how everyone was looking at her. She grabbed a cup of coffee and headed down the hall but stopped dead in her tracks when she heard Captain Spiller stick his head out of the conference room and call her name. 

“Glad you could finally join us. We need you in this meeting with us,” Captain Spiller said as he escorted Angela inside the conference room. Angela stepped inside the room and immediately saw Ashley Troy, and another blonde hair woman she had never seen before Angela helped herself to a seat. “Okay what did I miss?”

“This here is lieutenant Mary Wiggins. She’s head of a secret group called the TSA (Tactical Secret Agents) and she’s here to shine some light on the twelve missing agents,” Captain Spiller explained.

“Thank you captain,” Mary stood to her feet. “The TSA had one mission and that was to find and eliminate the world’s most dangerous terrorist, a man that goes by the name, the Lion. I sent several agents out to eliminate, the Lion and none of them made it back alive, the Lion has even taken things a step further and had the families of the agents murdered in cold blood. I’ve heard rumors that, the Lion is scheduled to be in Dubai sometime this week He’s been off the grid for a while so if he’s popping up now something big must be about to go down,” Mary paused. “Here’s where the story gets tricky my best field agent Matt Hardy seems to have switched side on us and now he’s working for, the Lion.”

“Wait; so you mean to tell me that your best agent is a traitor?” Angela asked with a confused look on her face. 

“Yes and I believe agent Hardy helped, the Lion take out the other twelve agents I sent to eliminate the terrorist now agent Matt Hardy is missing,” Mary replied. “Angela you sat down with a sketch artist the other day am I correct?”

Angela nodded her head. “Correct.”

“Well here’s a picture of the Asia assassin,” Mary pulled the assassins picture up on the big projector screen. “Her name is Roxy Young. She’s a former Asian agent highly skilled and trained, she’s wanted in several countries and is said to be, the Lion’s best soldier,” Mary clicked a button on the remote she held and the screen went from the picture of Roxy to a picture of Roxy at an airport. “This is a picture of Roxy arriving at the airport in, Dubai yesterday,” Mary clicked a button on the remote and this time a picture of Matt Hardy standing in an airport appeared on the projector. “Here’s a picture of agent Matt Hardy arriving at the airport in, Dubai this morning, now I have no clue on what, the Lion is up too but what I do know is that it’s going down in Dubai and it’s going down soon.”

“So what do you want us to do?” Ashley asked speaking for the first time.

“Well I was told that you all were the best agents available.”

“No we’re the best agent’s period,” Ashley corrected her.

“Didn’t mean to offend anyone,” Mary apologized. “What I need is for you and your team is to go to, Dubai and stop whatever, the Lion and his team has planned, that is the mission if you choose to accept.”

“We accept,” Angela said quickly. Even though they would be heading out to, Dubai blindly, Angela looked forward to seeing her good friend Roxy again.

“Well, Dubai here we come,” Troy said in a sarcastic tone.
