CHAPTER 4

(Do What You Gotta Do)

Matt Hardy stepped out the limousine dressed in a nice black tuxedo. He stood six foot even, his blue eyes, thin mustache, and muscular frame were only a few of his eye-catching features that kept all the ladies flocking in his direction. Matt Hardy entered the hotel and spotted nothing but the rich and wealthy. “I’m in,” he said through his earpiece.

Okay, stick to the plan and make sure you remain unseen until the mayor and his daughter arrive,” Roxy replied. Roxy walked throughout the ballroom wearing a long plain black gown that dragged across the floor. She looked like an innocent young lady but the truth was she was one of the most violent people in the entire building. Roxy grabbed a glass of champagne off one of the waiter’s trays and sipped it slowly as she took note of her surroundings. Across the room she spotted Matt Hardy, he was a very handsome man but Roxy didn’t trust him. It was just something about him that she couldn’t put her finger on. As Roxy was watching Matt Hardy, a man in an all-white tuxedo with hair that rested on his shoulders bumped into her causing her to spill her drink.

Excuse ma’am I’m sorry about that,” the man said politely. “Can I get you another drink?”

No that won’t be necessary,” Roxy replied with a smile.

Well it was good seeing,” the man said as he walked by and slipped a small piece of paper in Roxy’s hand and kept on walking. Roxy held on to the paper and quickly disappeared inside the ladies room. She checked each and every stall making sure it was empty before she unfolded the note and began to read it.

Keep an eye on Matt Hardy I don’t trust him make sure he pulls off his part of the mission and make sure you take the mayor’s daughter out...head shot!.......From yours truly, the Lion”

When she was done reading the note, Roxy quickly ripped it into tiny pieces then flushed it down the toilet. Just as she was about to exit the ladies room, she heard Matt Hardy’s voice crackle through her earpiece.

The mayor and his daughter just arrived.”
