Production Notes

Camera, Woman debuted at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in Toronto on October 14, 1998, in a co-production between Buddies in Bad Times and The Simmer Company.

Camera, Woman was directed by Franco Boni, with assistance from Laura Cowell. The cast included Sarah Stanley as Dorothy Arzner, Veronika Hurnik as Merle Oberon, Sam Malkin as Harry Cohn, Ellen-Ray Hennessy as Louella Parsons, Caroline Gillis as Rose Lindstrom, and Ellen-Ray Hennessy as Pam Cook.

The original set was designed by Adrian Blackwell, with film projections by Laura Cowell. Costumes and makeup were designed by Sarah Armstrong. The original sound design was created by Darren Copeland, and the lighting was designed by Andrea Lundy.
