2 tablespoons tomato paste
½ cup tomato sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon dried oregano
Pinch of ground black pepper
PLACE the tomato paste in a small bowl. Gradually add the tomato sauce while whisking. Whisk until smooth. Add the sugar, salt, oregano, and pepper. Whisk to blend. Transfer to an airtight plastic container. Refrigerate for up to 5 days.
