Top with dollops of whipped cream...luscious!
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 t. vanilla extract
30-oz. can cherry pie filling
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1-1/2 t. baking powder
1/4 c. baking cocoa
1/2 c. milk
In a small bowl, combine melted butter and vanilla; spread mixture in a 13"x9" baking pan. Pour pie filling into pan; set aside. In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and cocoa. Stir in milk. Pour batter over pie filling; do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, until golden. Serve warm. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
