Although in the past it has been theorized that a “paranormal flap” is different than a haunting, we now believe that the proxy to all paranormal events is relatively the same energy source or portal, for lack of a better word, to describe this elusive parallel world intersect of sorts. Rather than there being clear distinctions that UFO flaps are over large areas and hauntings are contained to one house, we now know that the paranormal is much more interconnected. The silo approach to categorizing and looking at phenomena in its own neat category is no longer a viable working model. We must look at this from a much different perspective and see the broader implications. Quantum psychics is now providing the means for us to access better theories around how this all works. Science has come a long way in developing this; however, there is still a lot of work to be done.
The Litchfield paranormal flap is the poster child and proving ground to demonstrate that all kinds of phenomena can converge in one area—and over a large area—regardless of the nature of the phenomena. It could be cryptids, UFOs, glimpses into the multiverse with time slips, haunted houses (like the Fillie house), and roads with entities (human and non-human, known and unknown).
In the following chapters, two researchers, Marc Dantonio and Shane Sirois, not only investigate this flap, but share personal encounters of their own. Marc is MUFON’s chief photo and video analyst and has served as a subject matter expert and visual effects creator on UFO programs for networks including Discovery, National Geographic, History Channel, and Science Channel. Shane is the director and founder of trueghost.com. His own near-death experience has made him the “go-to person” when hauntings get tough. He has a 100-percent success rate for resolving paranormal cases using his own unique methodology.
It’s time to look at some examples of the “flap” that has been active for potentially hundreds of years or more and is still active to this day.
