Chapter Five

Aaron

By three o’clock the next day, eight thousand dollars is sitting in my bank account, a deal breaker Mr. Cooper agreed to when I called him this morning. I needed the money now in order to get the lights turned back on and food in the fridge so the girls can be back in their own beds.

Cooper emailed me a contract to read over and sign. Included was a non-disclosure agreement. It was to prohibit me from discussing what goes on between us with anyone. I don’t think I’ll be running to TMZ anytime soon with a story about a man buying my ass for the weekend. No, thanks. I don’t need everyone knowing what’s about to happen. It’s bad enough Jonah knows.

I debated in telling Jonah who Addison Cooper really is. It would be easy to let him go on thinking I’m spending the weekend with a woman. However, Jonah is my best friend and I need his support to get through this. It wasn’t surprising that he was a surprised as I was in learning the truth. Matter of fact, he tried to talk me out of coming tonight. It was me who had to remind Jonah the reasons I had no choice but to go through with this.

Cooper also included directions to a clinic that can process a speedy health check and the address of his condo. I have the week after off from school for spring break, so I’ll have a week to recover if needed. Receiving a non-disclosure makes me curious about the man I will be spending the weekend with. Curious enough to Google Addison Cooper.

Picture after picture of him comes up. He’s always accompanied by both men and women. Most photos are of women dressed in gowns and men sharply dressed in suits and a tie. Some photos are of him alone, either getting in or out of a fancy car. In every picture, he’s dressed in an expensive suit, like the one he wore the other night when we met at the restaurant.

The captions above the pictures use words like, Wall Street savvy. Millionaire bachelor, and Unstoppable CEO. Cooper looks like a smart, dominant businessman, and guessing by the articles, he is. That explains how he can pay top dollar for his weird sex kinks. But if he’s so rich and powerful, it makes me wonder why he would want to slum it with me. I’m inexperienced, and I have no idea what a man like Cooper would even want from me.

A website link is included in the contract. Cooper instructed me to visit the site to gain information. He said to think of it as homework for the week. Upon opening the website, a blog page opens, talking about self-care and prep for anal sex.

Great.

After reading a little about what to expect, I have the urge to email the fucker back and tell him to shove his money up his ass. Of course, I know I can’t.

I need the money too bad. But can I have sex with this man? Can I undergo the intimate act of putting another man’s dick in my mouth and not throw up?

I’ve always thought of myself as open-minded when it comes to gay relationships. I support and agree that it doesn’t matter who anyone loves, as long as it isn’t hurting anyone else.

“Aaron, we’re hungry. Do you think Jonah has anything we can eat?” Shelby asks, bringing me out of my thoughts.

I slam the top of the laptop down and toss it on the cushion beside me. Shit. How long has she been standing there? Did she see the article I was reading? Shelby is fifteen, she can clearly read. Unlike Kenzie, who wouldn’t be any wiser to what I was looking at.

Fuck!

Scrubbing my hands down my face, I let out a breath and turn to face my sister.

“I think we should go out and eat. I also got the lights turned back on at the house, so we will be going home tonight. What do you say? Kenzie?” I holler for our baby sister as I get to my feet.

I see her little blonde head of hair as she comes bouncing out of the bedroom. “Can we have pizza?” she asks, not being able to say the word right.

“Pizza? Of course. What do you say, Shell? Do we want to go get pizza?”

Shelby folds her arms over her chest and locks her suspicious gaze on me. I hate it when she gives me that look. She has no idea how good she is at making me feel guilty.

“We don’t have the money for that, and how the hell did you get the lights back on?” Her young voice holds way more life knowledge than it should.

“Don’t worry about it. I was able to come into a little money. I made the calls, and Mom is on board with her scheduled appointment tomorrow. See, I told you everything would be fine.”

“Where did you get that kind of money?” Shelby asks with her concerned gaze burning into me. It’s hard to lie to her. Like our mom, she can read right through any lies I tell.

“Shell, stop asking questions, okay. Just know I got some money and leave it alone. Now, let’s go get some pizza.”

My words seem to make her content for the moment, pausing the questions from coming. However, I can tell by the way her gaze follows me out of the room she’s far from letting the subject drop.

It’s too damn bad. She can wonder all she wants. I will do whatever it takes to make sure my sisters never find out what I’m doing for them.
