About the Author

Jenna Wolfe served as the Today show’s first Lifestyle and Fitness Correspondent and NBC News National Correspondent. Wolfe spent twelve years as a sportscaster before joining the Today show in 2007.

Her background, like her personality, is spirited. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she moved to the United States in 1989, so her American pop culture references only date as far back as Duran Duran, When Harry Met Sally, and Michael J. Fox (all big that year). She is fluent in French and Creole and can ask you where the library is in Spanish (which, by the way, has never come in handy).

A self-proclaimed daredevil and thrill seeker, Wolfe is also a certified personal trainer, both on TV and in her spare time. Among her honors and accomplishments, she’s most proud of receiving the distinguished IDEA Jack LaLanne Award (given to her in 2015 by the IDEA Health and Fitness Association, the world’s leading organization of fitness and wellness professionals) for her contribution to the world of fitness, as well as the “Most Athletic Mom” award (given to her by her daughters).

Of all the adventures she’s embarked on, motherhood is by far her favorite. She gave birth to Harper Estelle in 2013 and Quinn Lily in 2015. Jenna and her partner, Stephanie Gosk, have been beaming (and sleep-deprived) ever since.
