I woke up with a hangover from hell after doing a little too much at Sunday dinner. That was the real reason my eye was black that day that I saw Kayla. My ass had fallen down drunk as hell and hit my eye. I was finally back home now with Mario and his ass was gone already. He worked for the city and was usually out by 6 am. I stretched wide before I checked my Instagram page and posted a picture with the caption,

Feels good to be able to sleep in while y’all hoes working for a minimum wage check. Kids good, bills paid, life is lovely. Y’all hoes can’t relate.

“TREEEEEEEEYYYYY!” I yelled. “Get your sister up and get her ready for school and then make Tae Tae a bottle.”

“Yes ma’am,” my oldest son answered.

“Oh, and pour me something to drink first and go to my car and get my cigarettes.”

I turned on the TV to see if last week’s episode of Love and Hip Hop was on. I just didn’t get why Rashida stayed with Kirk’s dog ass after he swabbed her damn son for his DNA. If Mario ever, I would kill his ass. Now Joseline, she was my type of bitch; never taking anyone’s shit and quick to beat a bitch’s ass.

Trey came in with my cigarettes and a big cup of Sprite.

“Thank you. Make sure you change my baby’s pamper. I know you know he be wet. Y’all need to be ready in fifteen minutes so I can drop y’all off.”

“Okay Mommy, can you make us pancakes this morning?” Trey asked.

“Uhhh uhh Trey, I don’t feel good either. Y’all gone eat at school.”

Trey walked away defeated, but I didn’t have time to be making no pancakes when breakfast was free at school.

I walked down the stairs thirty minutes later and the kids were all bundled up in their coats. Trey was holding Tae Tae.

“Y’all look cute,” I commented before I walked out to the car and they followed.

The school was only four blocks away, so we made it there in no time. I was about to pull off after the kids got out of the car, but I spotted that fine ass Fu walking his daughter into the school. I turned my hazards on and skipped his way.

“What’s up, Fuquan?” I greeted him.

“Oh, what’s up Danni?” he said, but didn’t so much as look at me.

“Why are you in a rush? You can’t talk to me or something?”

“Danni, I’m trying to get my daughter in so I can eat breakfast with her. You need something? You good?”

“Yeah, you know what I need, but I saw you checking out my little sister last night. Y’all got something going on or something?”

“Man, mind yo’ business. That don’t have shit to do with you,” he snapped.

“It is my business if you’re fucking with my little sister but didn’t let me sample that dick first.”

“Man, you are trifling. Where is your son? I know you didn’t leave him in the car.”

“Boy, chill the fuck out. I left the heat on. He will be fine.”

“Danni, if you don’t get your simple ass back to that damn car with your kid, I’ma whip yo’ ass and then call Game so he can whip yo’ ass again.

I didn’t get why this nigga was trying to play me, but I didn’t take his threats lightly, so I marched my ass to my car but poked my butt out a little just in case he was watching.

I dropped my baby off with my mama and until the kids got out of school, I would be chilling like a villain.
