Hat With Earflaps

Keep warm and cosy in this snuggly hat. I’ve decorated the earflaps with pompoms on strings, but you could leave it plain if you prefer.

PATTERN NOTES

Hat is worked in the round, do not turn throughout.

Earflaps are worked straight.

Yarn is not fastened off after each colour change, and you do not need to join yarn to each new row once it has been joined in. Simply carry the yarn at the back of the work, and pick up and work the new yarn in the next stitch when instructed. Do not pull the yarn too tight when changing colour as this will affect the stretch of the hat.
