Dear Reader,

Growing up, I was a huge fan of fairytales, and Cinderella was my hands down favorite. It still is. Fabulous footwear, a personal stylist AKA fairy godmother on 24/7 call, mean girls getting their comeuppance, and a handsome prince who actually likes to dance—what’s not to love?

In my Suddenly Cinderella Series for Entangled Publishing, I turn the heat up on the classic fairytale, including making some...modifications to the tried-and-true storyline. What if instead of glass slippers, my heroines passed about a velvety red pair of vintage Saks Fifth Avenue high heels? What if those shoes, which first belonged to a 1930’s era silver screen siren, guided the wearer to finding Happily Ever After with her One True Love? And what if the ubiquitous castle in the air was a posh penthouse apartment and the “kingdom” New York City, Washington, DC or Los Angeles?

In OPERATION CINDERELLA, optioned by Twentieth Century Fox as a feature film, Manhattan magazine editor, Macie Graham may not seem like Cinderella material at first. The hard partying goth girl is more interested in finding her next juicy feature story than she is true love. But when conservative media personality, Ross Mannon nearly costs Macie her job with his latest on air rant against the publication, she resolves to knock the sexy Texan from his high and mighty pedestal once and for all. Alas, her undercover muckraking mission to dig up the dirt on Ross calls for some…sacrifices, notably transforming herself into the sweater set and pearl wearing woman she’s sworn never to become.

But why should girls get all the makeover fun? In THE CINDERELLA MAKEOVER, tech startup CEO Greg may have taken Silicon Valley by storm, but matching his socks still baffles him as does navigating the dating waters to find a woman who’s interested in him beyond his billions. For British-born fashion photographer Francesca, a stint as a “fairy god mentor” on a reality TV show aimed at transforming fashion frogs into princes is a step down from covering New York, Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks, but the money will enable her to stay in the States with her teenage daughter. When a bet with a rival coach lands her in the hot seat grooming Greg to win, will the beauty-loving Brit learn to look beyond her protégé’s bad haircut and rumpled clothes to the princely guy beneath?

Cinderella meets My Big Fat Greek Wedding in THE CINDERELLA SEDUCTION, the series finale. Personal chef Stefanie Stefanopoulos has one week to convince visiting Greek real estate tycoon, Nick Costas, to hold off on calling in her father’s multi-million dollar loan and seizing the family business as collateral. Given Nick’s well-earned reputation as a womanizer, seduction just shy of sex seems her best hope for softening him up. But when a reformed Nick turns up on her doorstep with his seven year-old daughter in tow, Stefanie must rethink her plan—and her priorities.
